VCF’s Three Values
All gyms are NOT created equal. Differences in space and equipment aside, they have different personalities and goals. We wanted to give you a chance to find out a little bit about us. Violet Community has 3 core values through which we filter all our activity. To read more in depth, click One, Two or Three.
Raising The Bar | |
![]() | Every one of us has a standard they set for life – a “bar” if you will. It’s important to us that your time inside the box should raise that bar, even a little bit. We repeatedly challenge and test ourselves in the gym so when we encounter a similar situation out in the real world, physical or psychological, we are better prepared and equipped to deal with it. |
Health Is Multifaceted | |
![]() | The choices we make in one area of life have a powerful influence on others, whether we mean them to or not. And since any facet of health and well-being affects all the other parts, a purposeful decision to do something good for your physical health had some positive reverberations into your mental, emotional and relational health. THAT is what we want to encourage and support in you. |
Because Life Matters | |
![]() | We all have incredible worth and value. You are important to someone. Your friends, your siblings, your parents, your cousins, your spouse, your children … you have someone that thinks you’re special and loves you. Whatever is is your heart, we think that is worth fighting for. Why do we believe that everyone can improve a little bit every week? Why do we care how our mental state affects our food choices? Well, because your life matters! |

How We Accomplish Our Values
We tap into the disciplines of body weight movements, of weightlifting pieces, of traditional cardio. We learn a little about strongman and practice balance. Some enjoy the strategy and competition of a sport while others simply celebrate the fact their bodies can move. No matter the programming of the day, our coaches can adjust any individual movement or workout to meet the needs and goals of our people. All types of people can raise their bar in the same class.
